About / Bio – the story of Fox Solutions, Ink!

Welcome! My name is Joe Fox and this is my life. To have a job that utilizes many portions of my talents and interests, and allowing me to perfect my technical skills is my ultimate goal. To work as a part of a team, lending creative solutions to challenges, I seek stability in an atmosphere where I can expand my talents and contribute towards professionalism and learn more as the days go by.

Having grown up and raised in the Santa Cruz area I have been exposed to creativity. A mother that is an Art Conservator, I was around art and museums my entire life and this has helped me to develop the artistic eye I have today. Being a graduate of Cogswell Polytechnical College and receiving a BA degree in Computer Video Imaging with a minor in Character Animation I took that next step in gaining my experience, skill and expanding my abilities in a larger number of media. I have previously worked as a picture framer and more recently as an animator and even more recently as a graphic designer.

Through my life I have also gained experience in a variety of other fields. These experiences have gaven me a strong knowledge in construction, ranging from plan reading and layout to the full process of the actual building and finishing of various structures. Also giving me the insight of interior and exterior design and landscaping. From that I have also taken the time to learn about the culinary arts. This expanded my understanding of color, taste, composition and structure of a product so that the overall combinations of work is in complete harmony.

Constantly creating designs and art for friends and doing various freelance projects has made me stay strong and fresh with the arts during my life. I am very experienced with most computer programs being an expert with Photoshop, and proficient in Illustrator and Premiere. Other programs that I have worked with include: Final Cut Pro, Flash, Lightwave, Maya, Soft Image, and Poser.
